a couple days ago I noticed that my bantem rooster's comb is leaning over, and on some days the tip is purplish. He acts fine, and between my two roosters is the "top dog". Is he ok.

Does he stand around with his wings lifted up, panting etc? He is probably suffering from the heat. He needs more shade, and opportunities to cool himself down. You can put water in a shallow pan for him to stand in - when the feet are cooled the whole body feels cooler. Give him some cool treats like watermelon. Make sure he has lots of cold water. If he the ONLY bird in the flock having troubles like thisZ?
