You ain't kidding there.You made it longer than I expected.
I envy your number of birds in terms of breeder selection but not in the feed bill.
Been driving an SUV for years. Earlier this year we got a full size truck. I was celebrating getting to use it for weekly feed runs.
Before I had to make two runs a week and hand load it. A weeks worth was too much weight for my SUV. Now they can just bring a pallet out and load it in the back of the truck.
There's a glimpse into having too many chickens huh?
Think if I thin down a little more I can be down to 100 lbs a day.
Another reason to like leghorns. They eat a little less so a little less Xs a ton of birds actually comes out to a good bit of difference.
