Well, no chicks at all after my first time incubating. The last chick died in the night. I had already set 6 silkie, and six maran eggs last Wednesday, and they are all fertile at this point. My new problem is out of control egg buying. Last week I bought 6 polish frizzle eggs. I thought they would arrive so they would be at worst three days apart. Now I have been told they were posted out yesterday, so there will be six days between settings. I really don`t want to use the home made incubator after this weeks disasters, so can someone please give me an idiots guide to staggered hatching?
