my flock consists of:
golden comet
buff orpington
easter egger
golden laced Wyandotte
rhode island red
a couple weeks ago my first egg was laid by my Golden Comet. after her first egg she skipped a day, then has laid an egg every morning since.

right around the same time my RIR started squatting. so i begin watching her closely, ready for another egg anytime(in my own mind).
3 days ago i go outside check my box and find this out there.

for comparison

i was expecting my RIR to be next, but upon my research they typically lay a brown egg, i was expecting my EE to lay a blue/green egg. yesterday they all were running in and out of the coop. i'm new to this and it's driving me crazy trying to pinpoint the culprit.
