Trying to figure high death rate?

So I'm incubating Seramas, and frizzle Seramas, and I know they can have lethal genes, but mine hatch out and then 50% end up dying on me within a week or two...sometimes after a month. Is it something with the incubation that makes them weak?

I doubt it. From what I've read about them this typical of the lethal gene. Some never make out of the egg and others live for awhile then die.
