Hi everyone! This is my first time with backyard chickens. We bought our chicks 4 months ago and was told we were getting 2 Easter Eggers and 3 Australorps. The problem is one of our Australorps looks completely different than the other two. Did I end up with a rooster? Or maybe I was told the wrong breed? If anyone could help me out it would be very much appreciated! We're not allowed roosters where we live so I've really been stressing about this.
As you can see one looks a lot different from the others but I don't believe it has a spur. From what I've been reading it should have a spur if its a rooster.

Here's another picture with all 5 of our (hopefully all) girls :) I can add a closer up picture if it's needed. And thank you to anyone who can help me out!

I've had a bad feeling it was for a while now :( Thanks for the quick response. Guess I better start looking for a new home for him before he starts alerting the neighbors with crowing.

I wish we could keep him, we live within city limits though and its illegal to have him. When I bought the chicks I was told there was a 99% chance of them all being pullets. He just keeps getting prettier and prettier so I finally thought I should just post pictures and ask.

When I mentioned that one of mine seemed to be a rooster they said I could bring it back and they would give me another chick to replace it . I'm new at this but I'm pretty sure I can't stick a chick in with my 4 four month old pullets. They are a pretty close group, I dont know if they would accept a new one into the group. When I was buying food for them a few days ago someone else was bringing in a rooster. I would definitely say their percentage is probably off :/

Vent sexing is usually advertised to be 90% accurate. If you buy sex links your percentage goes up cause color is a lot easier to see than a tiny vent.

Fyi a lot of roosters don't get spurs until over 6 months old. That throws a lot of folks off.
