I know this is a long shot, but I’m curious if anyone has the same mix or can identify the breed of the mother hen. This is my boy (first pic) born from a very light cream egg (similar to the photo attached) and an olive egger father (second pic) and unknown mother. The possible mothers are as follows (I’ve included darker egg colored layers just in case):

Rhode Island Red
Buff Orpington
Blue Australorp
Starlight Green Egger (cream eggs)
Barnevelder

Any input is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Either the Barnevelder or R.I R, I'm leaning Barnevelder
I was initially as well because it looks like there might be similar markings on his chest, however, I thought they laid darker/brown eggs? I haven’t see her lay so I can’t confirm. But he certainly looks very similar to some of the Barnevelder rooster pictures I’ve Googled.

Typically yes, but sometimes they don't get the memo.
