My first round of chicks finally acclimated to the outside temperatures and graduated to the coop. Yay! In celebration of that and because I am officially addicted, I went and got another round of little peepers at tsc from the assorted bantam bin. I’m hopeless!
Anyways, these guys are TINY. They seem so much smaller than the last group of assorted bantams. They’re still somewhat weak and I’m hoping some electrolytes and a nice warm brooder will perk them up. I was hoping to get some preliminary guesses as to breed on these chicks. I know it’s hard to be certain at this young of age.
Chick #1 - very quiet and one of the smallest of them all
Chick #2 -
Chick #3 - this one is the biggest of the group. I have also never seen this comb type before, I think.
Chick #4 - Silkie! What color is this one? My other one in the last group looked a little lighter and he’s turning into white, I think. I hope this one is different.
Chick #5 - itty bitty
