Hello all! My sister got some week old(ish) chicks from the bantam bin at tsc and we'd both love to know what breeds they are and if it's possible to find out their sex.

The Old English Game Bantam is a cockerel. The Duckwing chick down is sexable by color. It's also Silver Duckwing. Females have a darker pattern.

The others can't be sexed early by looking at them.

You have a Golden Sebright, Silver Sebright, & a White Silkie.

I thought that that was only sometimes right, since they are from a hatchery, like with BRs from hatcheries? I might be wrong, though.

I always pick the darker OEGBs for females. Has been 100% accurate so far. That's how I replaced my mom's first OEGB that got eaten by a cat one spring.

Oh, ok. Darker OEGBs in all colors, or just Silver Duckwing like this chick? And thanks, thats very helpful!
