Alfred/Alfreda was supposed to be an Amerucauna.... I need to learn more on reading combs but there are no muffs like my other Amer. I hatched. What's the jury say?

Whatever it is, you can tell by the yellow legs that it's pretty unlikely to lay green eggs. That gene seems pretty closely tied with whatever genes give slate colored legs. And while I've never seen an EE with feathered feet, they're generally mutts selected for hardiness and laying lots of green eggs, so anything could be in there.

Honestly it looks like a young Dark Brahma to me, but whatever it is, it's clearly friendly, healthy and good natured.

Plus the feathered feet are a pretty telling sign. ;)

My guess, given body/head type, coloring, and legs is silver-laced cochin. Hopefully a girl, if that's what you were going for, but either way will be a pretty bird.

Oh that would be awesome if it turns out being a Silver Laced Cochin 🤩🤩. Roo or hen, I'm happy either way. It's a sweet as can be. I've noticed a few of my cockerels are more lovey than my pullets. It's going to be hard culling them.
