Great questions. We see your complete model is $600.00 What can a DIY'er do it for??? And I would like to expand on question #2, does the instructions list where the materials can be found with part numbers and contact info???

Materials are about $450
Most are readily available with the exception of the Feather Plate and the Spinner plate which both require machining.
The tub is a standard 23" OD Plastic Barrel. Which holds 1-2 birds at a time.
10lb bird takes 10-15 seconds to clean.
