Tube Feeder

Figured I'd show you guys my new feeder. I found this tip somewhere on this site but I cant remember who to give credit to, sorry.

Its a tube of 4" PVC attached to a metal mason jar chick feeder.

The 4" to 2" reducer fits right into the feeder base without any modifications. Lowes sells a 2' piece of 4" PVC already cut.
Just add a cap (NO GLUE) and thats it. I cut a hole in the roof of my grow-out pen and sealed around it with silicone.

The chickens and ducks use it with no problem. It holds alot of food and doesnt take up much floor space.
Im happy with the results and will duplicate this in other pens.

THAT is a great idea! Excellent use of vertical space.

I may just do something like this in my coop...it's tall but doesn't have all that much floor space. I keep my floor litter fairly deep, so I'd have to rig a tray up off the floor.
