tube feeding a sickly turkey

just did my first tube feeding. can anybody give me anymore pointers?

did a mixture of turkey starter, egg, apple, and electrolyte. i mostly got the liquid down. i gave him a tomato treat after.

fed him again this evening. gave him cornmeal, brown rice, egg, corn, carrots, broccoli, and electrolyte powers all mixed with water. i filled his craw up. he seems to be getting more energy. he was even picking at some of the turkey starter and tomatoes.

If it's working and getting stronger keep going. It would give it more turkey starter and cut back on the others. The only extra we feed our poults is hard boiled egg yoke and not much of that. You really want them eating the starter since it has the protien and vitamins they need.
