Hello, I am new to Backyard Chicken... and happy to introduce myself.

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I have had chickens for 3 years.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now? I have seven hens, and 18 eggs in an incubator.

(3) What breeds do you have? I have 2 Rhode Island Reds; Pickles and Lou Lou, 2 Buff Orpingtons; Louisa and Theresa, 1 Ameraucana; Baby, 1 Red Ranger; Freckies, and 1 Sweet Sweet black Andalusian; Tuney Boonie

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com? Google

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? LOVE to garden!

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I have two beautiful adult children and 3 beautiful grandchildren. I have a rat terrier named Jack, and two Siamese cats, Steve and Iris, I am a studio potter and starting to incorporated chickens into my work!!

Here's my girl Tuney Boonie. She is kinda spoiled and likes to come in for some treats and a little comfort. And she is everything Andalusian, Active! Talkative! Flies over the fences! Only one behavior she doesn't have is she DOES like people!! That could be because she has a good people for an owner!!

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share more pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out
