Turken breeds?

Naked Neck is the official breed name recognized by the APA. I believe the gene is also referred to as such… Turken would be a nickname for the breed and what hatcheries often call them

its the same exact breed and I had a naked neck myself but she got attacked by a fox last week(my profile pic is of her)

So, if one of these girls is bred with say, a Cochin roo, will the result be a Cochin naked neck? That'd be an odd combination.

I used to have bantam cochin naked necks. I loved the combination of feathered feet with a bare neck.

I gave up on feathered feet because they were too much of a pain to care for, but I still love naked necks. Two of my roosters are from a naked neck hen and an Easter Egger cock.

Naked neck mixes are fun. I recommend them!
