So, I have a half grown turkey and a peachick that’s about half that again. Currently they are kept together with shelter and a large area to run around in. There were 3 other peachicks that were lost for different reasons. The turkey and peachick are fine together and look so cute walking around together. But when they are let out will they stick together or will they join their seperate flocks? All our birds are free range but chooks stick with chooks, ducks stick with ducks etc. But will these adorable babies go their own seperate ways?

When I first put them together they had a couple disagreements on who was boss but although the turkey is bigger the peachick was fast and smart.

They may continue to regard one another as flock mates, or they may join their own breed - it varies, but frequently imprinted 'siblings' stay together. Several years ago when a friend purchased his property there was a wild turkey flock that contained several peafowl. They remained together for years.
