If the tom is not roosting it is because he has not found a desirable roost for himself.

I will put a stronger one up this weekend to see if he will use it.

I should rephrase and saw he is roosting In nesting boxes that are about 3ft off the ground

If you only have the one hen....you may want to get her a saddle to prevent injuries. Contact @Auroradream26 . She owns turkeys and will be able to fit your hen. Add he does a great job.
