10 days ago my turkey had yellow poop and was lethargic and was refusing to eat. I separated her and treated her with Metronidazole. I have had success with this for blackhead in the past.

After 5 days her poop turned bright green and she continued to refuse to eat, but she is still drinking. So, I added Corid to her water along with Amtyl, but there has been no change in her poop and she is still refusing to eat.

The last thing I can think of is to worm her, but at this point I don't want to just torture her by forcing wormer down her.

Can someone please give me an idea of what to do?

Sorry nobody's answered yet. Not a lot of turkey folks on the past day or two I guess. I am not one so winging it from my knowledge of chickens mostly.

That bright green poop usually comes from lack of eating, but since you've had her on three different things, that could also be the cause.

I'd finish out the dosages of these last two, then get her on probiotics to straighten her digestive system out. They make powders for in the water, or could try Greek yogurt. I'd give her that for about two weeks following those treatments. Also, I'd give her a vitamin/mineral boost as well for a few days after the Corid is done. We use Poultry Cell in their water here.

Could you try making a mash out of her feed, assuming it's pellets? Sometimes with chickens that is like a treat. Also, scrambled eggs is always a hit.

Hopefully she's improved a little since you posted. Let us know how she's coming along as maybe what you're giving her is helping by now.

Thank you so much for helping me. I'm so worried about all the treatments I've been giving her being too much on her system.

I have tried eggs, yogurt, and her absolute favorite that she can never resist, watermelon; and she just won't even try.

I have been tube feeding her the last two days. I sifted out the powder from her normal feed, down to the "flour" consistency and mixed it with water because anything bigger won't go through the holes in the feeding tube. (I am so worried about her aspirating and getting pneumonia. I ordered Enrofloxacin 10% last night, a different form of antibiotic than the Amtyl 500 that I gave her, in case of antibiotic resistance or a secondary infection; but I hate using antibiotics to begin with)

I also added Safegaurd, for goats, with the tube feeding the last 2 days.

She's had a few "normalish" looking poo's since beginning tube feeding, but there is still definitely a bright greenish tint to the "solids" in the poo. (Gosh I wish I knew a better way to describe it) The white part, of the poo, is white though, but is still watery, instead of dry.

She was a little feisty for her dinner tube feeding last night, whereas she has been too sick/weak to put up any feistiness for prior feedings. And she did scratch off a few bites of watermelon before bedtime.

I did put a drop of poultry cell in the feed mix yesterday, but I was worried about the vitamin B with treating with Corid. I will stop that until done with the Corid.

I also added Recovery 911, to her water last night, I didn't see where it has any vitamin B, just probiotics, prebiotics, electrolytes, and oregano.

I will most absolutely keep updating as things progress; in case anyone ever comes across this with another turkey, because I have not been able to find anything regarding follow-up infections, and bright green poo, after treating for Blackhead.

@Debbie292, do you think it would help to move this to the Turkey section? We ... do have a Turkey section, don't we? 🤔

OP, I'm hoping for the best for your bird! ❤️🙏❤️ I wish I could help. But I don't have turkeys either.

How old is the turkey?

I think you're right so requested it be moved.
