My pet turkey Freda had bumblefoot and I gave her antibiotics for 22 days but she is still stumbling and having trouble walking. I have never raised turkeys so I am unfamiliar with the way their legs should look. Below is a photo of her standing...when she walks the right leg seems to be out of joint or broken but I cant tell what is right and what is wrong with the way she stands and walks. She is communicating with me with her tauk tauk tauk's...which means she needs to go to coup to lay her almost daily egg or she is in one run and can't remember how to go to second run where there is lots of shade. I am making her a turkey tractor but not sure if she is going to be able to walk up the small ramp. I also read that domestic turkeys only live 2-3 years due to their size I guess. She weighs 30 lbs. Before bumblefoot she would run from the coop after laying to the watering pool. Now she walks a little ways then finds the skinniest weed and thinks it is shade until she "tauk tauk tauk"s at me and I come and guide her to water and shade.
