My Cornish Cross are 11 days old, Tukey is 4.

I plan on feeding them the same food, 24% chick starter, as that is the highest I have been able to find at my local feed stores.

I do only free feed for 12 hours a day, as i pull the feed up at night.

The turkey is about the same size as the Broilers.

It will be much easier and cheaper to put the turkey in with the broilers.

Per the chart below I found, their weights won't bee drastically different at various ages.
-----> Live Weight
Age in in Pounds
Weeks Males Females
2 0.6 0.5
4 1.8 1.5
6 4 3.5
8 6.8 5.7

Can I brood the Turkey with the Broilers? Will restricted feed hurt the turkey?

Now don't take what I say to the bank by any means. But I remember reading somewhere that you shouldn't. Mainly based upon the fact there is something in chicken droppings that turkeys tend to like and they are toxic to turkeys. I think also it depends on the sex of the chicks and turkey. As far as the restriction feeding....I don't know if it will hurt the turkey or not. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
