Turkey/chicken laying feed

I know turkey poults cannot have layer feed because of the calcium. At what age is it no longer a risk? I'll be switching my chicks to laying feed in the next few weeks, want to make sure I don't hurt my BBW. He is almost 3 months old, maybe 25 pounds. Thank you.

Layer feed will never be appropriate for a male turkey.

Easier to just keep em on all flock with oyster shell. The male will leave it alone and the layers will eat what they need.
