turkey eggs are in the hatcher/UPDATE w/ PICS!!!

okay they're in. sure there's about twenty other chicken eggs in there but these are special. they are my sons and his dog killed one of his turkeys today so these have to hatch! plus it's kind of my fault the turkey got killed. he doesn't blame me or anything but i feel a little guilty. i'm hoping at least one of these hatch. they're bourbon reds and of five, four were alive a few days ago. they aren't shipped eggs so i think they stand a chance against me.

Congrats!!! I have not tried turkey eggs yet. Are they more difficult than chicken and quail eggs?

these are my first turkey eggs and i've never done quail so i don't know. the turkey eggs were given to my son so we thought we'd see what happens. i treated them like the chicken eggs. they go for 28 days and i'm a moron and put day 21 on my previous post. oops guess i better fix that.

Mine went into the bator I have to "sit on mine" until the middle of August!!!!!!!!!!!!
