Turkey Food

I went to D and B supply and they told me that I don't need to feed turkeys any kind of starter feed. Just give them the Game Bird Feed and they will be fine.
Anyone else heard of this? We're gonna be raising 8 poults and I don't wanna spend $ on the dinky 5 lbs starter chick feed if I don't have to. Thanks.

This is the only thing that I feed my turkey poults. It's a 30% protein feed. They do VERY well with it and it shows. They need a higher protein that chickens.
