Turkey genetics

Could someone knowledgeable in turkey genetics please list out all the known/common traits, how they act geneticly and what each type of turkey is made up of? Been trying to find out but only able to get bits and pieces here and there but would love to get it all listed out. Thanks! Looking for the same for chickens but I'm probably going to get into turkeys first.

That's a big list you are asking for. If you do a google search on turkey color genetics I would bet most of the links will direct you to Kevin Porter. He is the king of turkey color genetics, I've known him for years and that's where I go.

Kevin Porter runs the Yahoo Turkey Genetics 101 site. You can find it under links on his site.
His site alone is a great place to learn. http://www.porterturkeys.com/ I know I sat down and wrote everything down that he listed. He has a easy way of explaining it.
