Hello Everyone....

Quick question I have a hen, a guinea and a turkey that have all gone broody. The guinea, in fact, hatched her brood over the last couple of days. The hen I suspect should start hatching her clutch in the next few days. The turkey, however, just went broody last week. The problem is, I know her egg is not fertile. (I don't have a tom.) So, I took away her egg in hopes of discouraging her from sitting. Well, she has robbed eggs from a chicken nest. We caught her rolling them to her nest when we went out to gather eggs. So, I feel bad for her because she obviously wants to be a mama. Should I try to put some other eggs under her?

I've read about turkeys hatching chicks and the biggest complaint was they accidentally squash the chicks because they are so big and heavy. Couldn't you get her some fertile turkey eggs somewhere? There may be some for sale here:
