Hi! Looking for some advice, I have a turkey hen that has not been accepted into the flock. She is bonded with a polish chicken and they have both been free ranging and around the flock but in a gated area for 3 weeks. We let them out and the turkey was injured by the flock, we brought her and the polish inside while she recovered and tried to reintroduce them again. This morning she was attacked and does not fight back. I'm not sure what else we can do. Any suggestions? Or do we need to rehome them?
The polish hen has not been picked on at all by the rest of the flock and she is much smaller than everyone else. The turkey is about the same size as the rest of the flock (all hens) if not a little bigger.
