Turkey in Florida??

Anyone raising turkeys in Florida who will be butchering for Thanksgiving? Love to find a place where I can find a turkey other then the grocery store.

Have you tried Craigslist? Out here at least, there's always someone with some good 'ol heritage birds available

WOW!!! Crestview...you are at the other end of the world for me. It would take me about 8 hours to drive there one way and I would do it if I could not find anyone closer. I took someones advise and looked on Craigslist ands I did find someone about one hour away that had an ad for muscovy ducks. Well, muscovy ducks are about my favorite and I went over there and found ou that he has some really nice 6 month old turkeys that he will be processing on order. Ordered two nice turkeys and took some of the ducks home to try in the meantime. Thanks for responding.
