I was just looking at the Purina site to find the protein percentage for their Flock Raiser feed. They had something in the feeding instructions... they said to feed the Flock Raiser to turkeys from 10 weeks to laying age, 18 - 20 weeks. Has anyone here ever had an 18 - 20 week old turkey lay eggs? In my experience, it has always been after their first winter.

I live in sunny California and have mild falls that can get downright hot my turkeys will be 20 weeks right after Labor Day and we will not have a frost until after Halloween...I will let you know if mine decide to lay. I was hoping for February eggs but it would be nice of them to start earlier
