Turkey nail rippedoff

My turkey got his back nail stuck in the sprinkler head and it got ripped complete off. I cleaned it with some vetericyn and water. Stopped the bleeding with baking soda and then wrapped it with some Neosporin. I’ve been changing the bandaid twice a day. It is doing good but I was just wondering how long should I keep it wrapped?

Turkeys are tough. It would have healed fine without any attention.

I would paint it with some Blu-Kote and leave it alone.
