Turkey Question!

I haven't gotten an answer in the Turkey forum so trying here. This seems more active!

I think this is a hen... At least 10 months old. Hatched from shipped eggs from last years swap.

I know very little about turkeys, but the snood looks very small for a jake or tom.

I went to your other thread and enlarged that picture - the bird definitely has a more masculine appearance in that picture. Frankly, I don't know 'she' may be a slow maturing tom. Sorry that I was not able to help.

I don't know the breed either! I raised it on chick starter for a long time. Now it just eats layer...so it might be slow maturing because of that...but it seems like it would have matured by now!

My is a female and she gets like this when I go near here baby chickens But I also dont what she is but she does look like yours
