I am revamping my turkey housing and range. If I put a fence up around their house how tall should it be?

Any tips for housing would be great! My darling has promised to build any design i choose!!! Which I'm very excited about!!!

If they are the BBWs about 24" should do it, once they get over their "SkyKing" phase.
If you have heritage birds then it doesn't matter how tall you make it, you will need to put some type of cover on it. I have seen my BR hens go over a 12' wall. Really impressive.

Yes i have BBWs but only have them until just before the holidays when the go to a local butcher. So 24 inches should suffice!

Have you ever heard of just letting them roam around the yard (i live on a farm, 16ac. lots of room)???

Is it a problem to let my laying chickens roam with them??

I would keep them contained. Just for their own safety. You wouldn't believe what they can get into left to their own devices.
As to running chickens with them, I don't do it. A lot of people do, but be aware of the risks such as blackhead and the fights.

Should they have a lot of vegetation in their fenced pen. Lots of grass, shrubs etc??
