Turkey, RIR, and random bantam eggs

Wish us luck on our babies. I am very worried about Our turkey eggs, as we have had so many problems And losses from our turkeys. Five blue slate eggs. We have had a problem with the chicks dying before they make it out of their shells. As for the bantams, I have no clue what they are and it's my first time hatching bantam babies. I really hope everything goes smoothly this time

Thanks I will!! And I'm not really sure what you mean by the shrinkwrapped thing. Lol

Shrink wrapped is when the membrane get dried out and sticks to the chick inside the egg and suffocates the chick

You can increase the humidity. I lost a few poults to the same issue. Now I use hens to hatch turkey eggs.

Thanks. If it doesn't go well this go around, I am going to put them under a broody chicken. I let her hatch her last ones by herself, bc of the shrinkwrapped poults from the time before, but something keeps eating her eggs. She only hatched 3 then bc she got off the nest early. Oh, these crazy turkeys!!
