Turkey spending too much time while laying eggs.

my turkey hen has laid 21 eggs and it's spending 6-7 hours daily in her nest while laying eggs. It's been 5 days like this where she spends 7 hours regularly and I'm worried that she might have spoiled all her eggs.

I had some hens that would spend the night on the eggs while it was cold, I was concerned but did nothing. When it warmed up they left the eggs alone until they were ready to go broody. The eggs hatched fine and on time.

If your hen is a first time layer however she may just not be thoroughly broody yet.

You can take some of the eggs and candle them to see what is going on.

I don't have turkeys, but ducks do the same. It is early signs of broodiness. The eggs will be fine.
