I have a turkey that has really runny poop. Is that normal? Am I missing something in her diet? She gets commercial chick grower feed, scratch, any fruit or treats that she will eat that I give the chickens, and anything she scratches up in the pen. Any ideas will be appreciated.

My turkey seems to be settling down finally. I gave her yogurt and oatmeal and it seems to be helping. A couple of my chickens have really loose poop, too. And one of my guinea keets isn't feathering out the way she should. I may need to switch to a medicated feed for a while to see if that straightens the turkey and the chickens out, and put the keets on medicated game bird starter. I was counting my blessings because everyone was really healthy for a while. Oh well...can't win 'em all

It may be that she is eating chicken feed and not turkey feed turkeys need a little higher protein in their diet though Im not sure if that would cause runny poop. If you are feeding all your different poultry the same feed you could try gamebird feed I think that is good for a mixed flock.

We live in a small farming community near Denver. One of the farmers near us recently sprayed a field with something that could have
affected my birds. They all seem to be on the mend now. You really have to be careful.

I have thought about that, as well as something getting into the soil. One of the farmers near us sprayed the field next to us with something just before all this started. "T" seems to be doing much better, but swithching them all to game bird feed may be a good solution. It is tricky, because not my ladies (and one confirmed gentleman) are the same age. I have a group that are getting ready to start laying anytime now, so their feed needs will change. Raising a mixed flock (ages and species) is an interesting challenge.
