Turkeys age

I was wondering on turkeys how you can tell what is a male or female. They are about 3 months old. They are suppose to be broad-breasted bronze turkeys but most of them are white. Thank you

at 3 months, the males will have a snood that is pretty distinct. mine is 3 months currently and when his snood is extended it is about 2-3 inches long. Also by this time if it is a male, it should be displaying, carnacules have developed, coloration changes on their head also, and a fairly large waddle/dulap. If they don't have these things, then they're most likely hens.

In this picture, he was a week over 3 months...you can see his snood resting on top of the beak and the carnacules on the neck...
