The only individual in the States that has been able to get them to breed and produce offspring is Virgil Bates, FLA.
Don't know your location but unless you live in the tropics, you will need a huge fully enclosed, planted, climate control enclosure. Ocellated's cannot withstand temps below 50°F and in fact, that may even chill them enough to kill them. They also require a special diet. Their very expensive birds to obtain and maintain. I think Virgil gets $6,000/pr.
