I have some turkeys I need to get outdoors, would it be ok to keep them in the same tractor as my cornish X's? Space is not an issue, I built a huge tractor for just such an occasion.

What kinds of turkeys?

If they are all meat breeds, they can stick together for a short time and be fine, the growth rates of my cornish x were greater than my bb bronze for the first 8 weeks. On the 9th week when they went to butcher, the turkeys finally caught up.

Is blackhead an issue where you live?

If it is, don't keep them together as blackhead is deadly for turkeys.

I had to build a seperate run for my turkeys, I had also planned to house them together, but was advised not to due to blackhead desease. cornishX poop like crazy and this is the main way to transmit blackhead, I now have a bleach foot/boot slurry at the door to thier run better safe than sorry.
