turkeys and ducks

my mom is wanting to get a few ducks and i was just wondering if they can be kept with my turkeys or do i need to build a new pen for them. thanks

Last year I had a turkey with my 3 ducks and they did just fine together...although the ducks are super messy, the turkey became the best of buddies to the crested pekin.

We were keeping waterfowl and chickens in with our turkeys. We quickly discovered that we needed to keep the water OUT of the coop or the floor of the coop was going to be knee deep in goo. Other than that they got along just fine though they would climb all over each other to get to the green treats.

They usually get along fine. Ducks are extremely messy, so your turkey will probably never have clean water again. I have a few onry drakes that fight with turkeys, but usually not very much.
