We have 5 BBB turkeys that are 12 weeks old. We recently started free ranging them and they are the most curious creatures I have ever seen.
Yesterday, we had some new visitors who went out to the barn. When those turkeys saw new people them began to make a lot of noise and came up to them making aggressive sounds. They never do that with smaller children, my older children, etc
Is this common? I read that they are dumb birds but so far I have not seen that other than the one who flew off the roost into the wall and broke his neck. We started out with 6.
