Turkeys circling dead cat

For those who haven't seen it yet, a man in my state filmed a circle of turkeys walking around a dead cat. Strange thing for the non zoologist to see.

Mine do that for anything that is strange or abnormal to them, though not in such an organized way.

I was about to post this, to see if anyone could explain. Are turkeys always weird like that? (thinking of getting some! )

They are extremely observant and wary of anything different, and some are a bit weird just like some chickens.
