Ok, I am an idiot, does the crop ever come up into their throats?? I know where it is on a diagram but...when I fed and watered all of my chicks and turkeys this morning my girl was coughing a tiny bit and had a big bump in her throat. When I touched it it went back down. I feel really silly asking about this. I have them in a big coop where they have plenty to forage on, I feed them wild game grower, and they have a sand box. For my chickens, thta's enough. Do I need to add grit for my turkeys though???
