Turkeys in same brooder?

Can you raise turkeys in the same brooder as chickens? If so, when should you separate?? Also, can you raise them in the same coop - I am in the Northwest, so I don't think we have any issues with blackhead disease - what do people think?

if you keep your barn clean then you shouldn't have to worry about most diseases. but turkeys & chickens can go together. you should have a separate area in case some of them don't get along
