Hi everyone.
I live in Mallorca, an island off the coast of Spain in the Mediterranean.
I recently bought two turkeys from a reputable poultry farm here on the island. They have been great are growing well and quite alert and happy - seemingly. However, yesterday I notice that they have both got black scabby spots appearing on their heads and necks. Today I notice one or two on their bodies when their feathers parted in the wind!! From what I have read online I think it maybe Fowl Pox (bit like chicken pox that we get). Does anyone have any ideas??
Here are a couple of pictures, I can't get any better pics at the moment but you can just see some blacker areas on their heads/necks.

They are lovely birds generally although one of them is a little scruffy most of the time! We bought one to fatten up for Christmas but then I read that they get lonely so we got another to keep him company, they get on really well for now. Hoping they won't fight too much. Not sure how old they are. I got them about a month ago so they could be two months or more! Perhaps someone could tell me that too?
Hope we can figure this out, I realise if it is fowl pox that they can't be treated but will they be fine for eating at christmas? if we can bare it!
Thank you. Let me know if you need other info.
