If incubating eggs go without being turned for 24 hours, will there be serious problems? I was going to put a batch of eggs in tomorrow, but next weekend I'll be gone overnight. Just wondered if I should wait till after I get back or if my eggs can go a day without being turned.

I think they'll be okay. I didn't plan to be gone over night, but due to emergency (me in the ER) I was gone for a 24 hour period and nobody turned my eggs. I checked them after and they were fine. They are due to hatch this coming friday. :)
Just make sure to turn then right before you leave and first thing when you get back.

One study shows that turning regularly the first 7 days is more important than at any other time. By next week end you'll have completed the first week.
