Turning Eggs by hand

If incubating eggs go without being turned for 24 hours, will there be serious problems? I was going to put a batch of eggs in tomorrow, but next weekend I'll be gone overnight. Just wondered if I should wait till after I get back or if my eggs can go a day without being turned.

I think they'll be okay. I didn't plan to be gone over night, but due to emergency (me in the ER) I was gone for a 24 hour period and nobody turned my eggs. I checked them after and they were fine. They are due to hatch this coming friday.
Just make sure to turn then right before you leave and first thing when you get back.

One study shows that turning regularly the first 7 days is more important than at any other time. By next week end you'll have completed the first week.
