Can my two and a half week chicks eat turnip greens? What about dill or fresh mint? If so, how much and does it need to be chopped into tiny bits?

Green leafy stuff is a good option for introducing "real" food to chicks. But they MUST have grit in order to be able to digest it and they can only have tiny amounts.

I always break the first chick green stuff into pieces no bigger than a lobe off a clover leaf. I allow one bit per chick at first. :)
