Oh the tweens.....7 wks. Not quite ready to go out to the Standards pen but no longer the itty bitties, which I have 5 new ones! They have been mingling with chicken wire in between for a couple days but last night, honestly I was just tired of hauling the crate around, I put them in with my Bantam hens. Girls can be vicious so I sat and watched them for awhile and nothing serious happened so thankfully all was well this morning.....allday......and they are actually trying to roost with the older ladies tonight. I would call it a success!!!
Next step, moving out with the standards since they are going to out grow their new Bantam roommates. Hope that goes as well as this one did!
