Twins?

Candled this egg I got off a lady about an hr away from us. She gave me 10 blue maran eggs and sadly only 2 were fertile at all. This one seems to have 2 moving embryos. It's on day 10. I'd love to get 2 chicks out of this one since so many were infertile but I know that's a slim slim chance

Any idea if this is 2 babies?

Even if they're both moving around? I've hatched 3 times before and never seen anything like it.

It could be but like you Said, very slim chances of one surviving, let alone both.

Yes, I was definitely weighing if I should just give up completely and take this one out so as not to get my hopes up. But I'd also like to maybe just keep waiting and seeing how it's developing too

It’s hard to tell by the picture if that’s two yolks and 2 eyes
Or one baby
Butt and head
Could you post a video of it moving?

I have incubated twin ducks but I would need to see the video to be more sure

99.999999% of the time twins if they go even 80% of full "term" one will die and take the other out. Eggs are just not evolved to support 2 at a time.

Try it if you want but IMHO throw it out if you think it's a double yolk.
