Twins!?!

i candled my eggs a few days ago, on day 14 or so and i could see two different black dots and veins going to both of them? are they twins? is that even possible? the egg goes into lockdown tomorrow so i want to know what to expect and i there is anythinge egg-stra

If the egg you candled was a double yolker they could be twins. Though its my understanding that when it come time to hatch they probably both wont survive, and if they do make it to hatch time you might have to help them out. Its quit rare, but does happen......good luck. Keep us posted, I'd love to hear you did hatch a set of fluffy butted twins

and they are silkies so the egg is already tiny, so i am unsure of what is going to happen. i think i acutally have 2 sets of silkie twins, and i have 6 silkie eggs altogether, and they all have white shells, making them easier to see. this is my first hatch, so how exactly is the right way to help them out?

I have an egg in the bator right now that is a double yolk egg to see what it will do but it have only been in since 4/18 so it is still early

im almost positive there are two. there are two dots and two masses along with each of them and the air sack is a lot bigger than the other eggs. but that kind of worries me because it is a silkie egg, which is already half the size of my other eggs.
