Two babies in one egg?!

I have eight girls and one boy. The father is a pure white leghorn. I have two buff Orpington‘s, one Rhode Island red, two Ameraucanas, two leghorns, and my brother gave me one of his girls and she is huge with black and white speckles. I think she’s called a something rock. What’s a bummer though, out of the five eggs that were under mama hen, only one was a blue egg, and there’s no activity with it or a white one. But I really wanted the blue one to hatch and for it to be a girl. The blue eggs do something to my soul! I’m still holding hope.

Will be really neat if we both get babies on the same day

So two ducklings hatched today! When all of the other ones hatch, I will take this egg that looked like twins that’s not as developed and put it in the incubator.

The school hatch had 2 yesterday and 3 today
2 more to go For their batch
They came early were due on Wednesday
My eggs have all internal pips I’m patiently waiting for externals
The eggs are rocking away when I talk to them
Have you got to candle that egg you are unsure of ?

How fun! No, I haven't candled again since. Well, not the duck eggs. I did try to candle the blue chicken egg yesterday, but I saw NOTHING, not even an air sac. The entire egg was blacked out. Mom is still sitting on it though.

@Sarjeanp what was the result of the possible twin egg? What about the others, did they all hatch? I just read this thread and need the ending LOL
