I had one chicken broody and the other got jealous and had to go to I guess and honestly I snuck at night and grabbed the two eggs from one (she still has 6) and stuck it under miss determined who would sit on nothing if I let her ;), so shes happy with her two now...

Anyways, there both about due to hatch wed or Friday...we're not certain what exact day is 21 but this is my first time dealing with TWO broody's together so what do I expect? I don't really have a way of separating them besides an extra large dog kennel if something goes wrong but can they raise them together or will there definetely be problems? Thanks!

I think they should be ok, they will probably raise them together. The advantage, if one is a bad mother then the good hen will pick up the slack. I have never seen another hen peck to kill another chick, so I think you are safe there. I have two sisters who went broody within a day of each other. I will pull them soon and put them together away from the flock. Good Luck, keep us posted!

Thanks so much! there mother was an amazing mother so I'm praying for the same with the both of them but just keeping a good watch out as best I can with my own 5 month pregnant belly! haha, I feel them! :P

Crossing fingers all goes well :/

I have two broodies in the same coop right now and they appear to be sharing the chicks! I was worried, but it all looks fine. The chicks seem to run to whoever is closer and they both sit there poofed up and broody clucking. :)
